And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

Exodus 14:10

In life we face challenges. Of a truth, we are more than conquerors and have been delivered from the powers of the devil but that does not mean the devil will not confront you. He will do his best to undermine your victory and deliverance. He, like Pharaoh will gather his hordes of hell and send symptoms of sickness, financial hardship, temptations to sin, etc. That is not a time for self pity. There a few things you can do and all will be well. The first of them is to Cry unto the Lord

The Lord says:

call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me”

(Psalm 50:15).

God is like a place where we can go, where he will protect us. He will always give us help when troubles come

(Psalms 46:1 EasyEnglish Version).

Each and every time we call upon him, we can be sure of answers. He does not fail, He cannot fail. He is too great and too faithful to fail.

Fine, God has given us authority and most times, all we need to do is to rebuke the devil or speak to our mountain. But there are times, we are so embattled that our faith seem to fail us. There are situations where we become so conscious of our errors that we can’t lift up our eyes. Crying unto God then is appealing to the mercy and sovereignty of God and like the Psalmist says,

When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.”

When you cry to God, He will show you what to do to obtain victory.

God always hears us. The reason why you don’t seem to get his attention when you pray is because you have alternatives to him. You had plan B and you have set up other options in case he fails. When you seek him that way, you cannot find Him because you are double minded. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. … “let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” (James 1:7). You must cry to him as your first and only hope.

Worship God your helper

Cry unto God now with all of your heart for answers to your life questions

Cry to God for the church that God will deliver her from wicked and evil men

Pray in the spirit.
