God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1

I know that these are perilous times–troubling times where the hearts of men are failing them. Kings and nobles; strong and mighty; rich and influential all in their pomp and pageantry are cowering in fear before this noisome pestilence. But beloved, you don’t have to fear their fear. The word of God says:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Psa 46:1-5 KJV

God never said there’d not be challenging times like this. Sure there will be such. But God offers safety for those who trust in Him. You can be sure that God is your protection. He’d keep you in safety throughout this trying moment and beyond if your trust is in Him.  Nevertheless, I want to call your attention to something very important.

Have you noticed that during such large scale challenges, God uses it as an opportunity to gather His children around Himself in a private fellowship? When epidemics visited Egypt, God called Israel into the privacy of their home and there, they fellowshipped with Him over the Passover meal. This is an opportunity to fellowship with God in spirit and in truth without the distraction of drumset, trumpets and puppets in the pulpits playing God. It is an opportunity for deep meditation and introspects.

Psalm 46:5&6 shows us that the secret of peace, joy and safety in times like these lies in the consciousness of the presence of God and the River of the spirit (the Word of God which is Spirit and Life). Let us discard our broken cisterns that have long satiated us and distracted us from the fountain of living water. Let us return to the Fountain of living water with sincere hunger and thirst. Let us dive deep and drink till out of our inmost beings flow the same Fountain to heal the wounded weary world around us

I believe strongly that a new dispensation is on the way. This may be the prelude to the end of the dispensation of man. The dispensation of the perfection of time is at hand. Look up, beloved brethren. Look beyond COVID 19. Look up, for now, your salvation draweth nigh than when we first believed. Surely we shall meet on the other side of this flood. But it matters what you shall be like. Let this fire make and not Mar you.

Thank you, Father, for you have not given me the spirit of fear but of sound mind

Thank you, Father, for your presence and the River of Life that is in our midst. This is our confidence, help and stay.

Father, I turn to you today. I discard all that has distracted me from you. I return to you Father

Heavenly Father, take me to the depths of true fellowship till all my consciousness rest on you and you alone

After this pestilence, I’m coming out transformed and the River of Life flows from my inmost being to heal the world
