TEXT: John 10:21-22

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Many of us want to know God and His will for our lives. But it seems difficult for them. People keep asking me how they can study the word of God and understand. To some dear brethren, the word of God seems like a closed book. But it does not have to be so. God wants to be known by you. He knows that eternal life consists in your knowing him and Jesus whom He has sent (John 17:3). He sacrificed the life of His son to give you this eternal life. He cannot then be happy seeing you being cheated out of it by ignorance and satanic deception.
God intends to reveal Himself and His will to you if you are born again. God has the simplest of His children in mind when He wrote the Scriptures. Just open your heart and you’d see God has removed every mystery thus the eternal realities of God are clearly revealed by God (Rom 1:19-20). God has “not spoken in secret from somewhere in a land of darkness” (Isaiah 45:19a NIV); neither has he called us to seek Him “in emptiness and dark nothingness” (Isaiah 45:19b Mssg). He wants to be known. That’s why Jesus prayed that we may know God and Jesus whom he has sent (John 17:3). He therefore set forth His words clearly
How then can you know God through His word? Determine to seek Him with all your heart; Determine to take God at His word; determine to change any belief that’s not consistent with the word of God and lastly, turn to the Holy Spirit for help (2Cor. 3:16). God has made Him your teacher and He’s ever willing to do so. Jesus says, ” But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26)

  • Thank you Father for sending Your Holy Spirit to teach me all things
  • Dear Holy Spirit, I ask you to reveal the word of God to me
  • Pray for the church that the Holy Spirit might have his way in our lives
  • Pray for the nation and me too.
    Isaiah 30:20
