TEXT: Exodus 13:15-16

15  And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

How long have you been crying unto God for a change in your life situations? You have come to what seems like a dead end and have cried to God for what you feel only He can do but He seems not to bother about you. Many times you have almost begun to question the love of God because you can’t understand why a loving God could watch you cry for help for so long and yet does nothing to help your condition. You have said, why have I cried to God without answers.

The truth is that Just like God said to Moses, “Wherefore criest thou unto me?” God is wondering why  you are crying to him in the first place.  You know why? Because He has done all that he ever needs to do to settle you. When you gave your life to Jesus, you have in the very fabric of your new nature, the ability to overcome every opposition and turn every situation around (Rom. 8:37, 2Cor 2:14)

Moses was holding in His hand the rod with which God has said he will do signs (Exodus 4:17). God had equipped him with all he needed for all the challenges he was going to face. Beloved, that is exactly the issue with us. God has given us all that we need for life and to overcome every life challenge (2Pet 1:3). Just as the power to wrought miracles was invested in the rod, so also the power to do anything and cause any desired change in life is encoded in the word of God. For the “gospel of Christ… is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth” (Rom 1:16). That power is available to everyone that believes in Jesus according to the word of God.

Bottom line: Stop begging God to change your hopeless situations. If there must be a change its up to you

If you’re born again,  it’s of no use beging  God to change your hopeless situations. God has given you power to effect required change.  You just need to know how to leverage on your divinely provided resources for requisition positive change.

Father thank you for the power in your word

Oh Lord my Father, open my understanding to know the greatness of the power you have given to me in Christ Jesus

Father teach me to use the power in the word of God always to achieve  great results to the glory of your name

Pray in the spirit

Pray for the church and for me too.
