INTEGRITY 2

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause

JOB 2:3

Adversity and temptation are tests of loyalty and character. The strength of a material is determined by the pressure it can withstand. One thing that will signal to you that you’re in the school of the spirit is adversity, temptation or trial.

Sometimes it will be difficult for you not to do something wrong. Or it will be difficult not to think something wrong. You will have difficulties like this. But they are the same kind of difficulties that every person has. God always does what he has promised to do. Remember this. He will not let any difficulty be too big for you. He does not want you to do anything wrong because of any difficulty. He will make you strong. He will show you a way out of the difficulty. So then you will be able to do what is right.” (1Cor 10:13 Easy English Version)

Integrity pays. Job was rewarded in double fold because of his integrity (Job 42:10-16). The difference between Psalm 24:3-6 and Psalm 15 is that while the former describes he that may ascend to the holy hill of God, the latter describes he that will ABIDE in His tabernacle and DWELL in His holy hill. One main characteristic of the latter is integrity. It says the person must be one that ”…makes firm commitments and does not renege on his promise” (Psalm 15:4 NET).

Integrity is the secret of abiding in the secret place of the Lord. And He that dwells in the secret place of the Almighty is heavily defended (Psalm 91:1-13); he is lavishly supplied with life and all the good things of life (Psalm 91:16) and he has a special audience with God (Psalm 91:15)
