For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me

1Cor 15:9-10

Yesterday we discovered that God supplies us with grace (divine influence, ability and presence) to enable us stay true to our commitment. However, you must engage and leverage on this supernatural ability and make the best of it. You must be a doer! Engage the grace in your daily activities. If you don’t do so, you’d be frustrating the grace of God and that is extremely wasteful and unfair. Let the consciousness of God’s grace, made available to you, cause you to take initiative for integrity and be your propelling force for holiness. You’d be surprise at what you’d come up with.

You must, stop evaluating situations based on your natural abilities. Let it be in your consciousness and subconsciousness that you’re powered by the all powerful God and He’s with you through every situation. He’d see you through no matter what; “…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Heb 13:5-6). This was why the saints of old could stay true to their integrity despite cruel trials to the point of painful death

For Paul, situations were not particularly favourable yet he leveraged on grace and eventually was not a bit behind the chiefest of apostles (2Cor 11:5, 12:11). In our theme scripture, Paul described how he was able to achieve this feat. He explained that he made full use of the grace of God by leveraging on it in his earnest labour of love. (1Cor 15:9-10). He further said “…like an earnest wrestler, I exert all my strength in reliance upon the power of Him who is mightily at work within me (Col 1:39 WMTH). Leverage on the grace of God for your integrity and you’d not have to compromise.

Father, thank you for grace is always available for me.

Father I trust in your grace and I declare that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me

I stay true to my conviction and I preserve my integrity because the grace of God is in me. I remain loyal to the course of Christ and I do not frustrate the grace of God in me

Father I pray that you’d sweep through your church with a revival of integrity and holiness
