TEXT Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Here’s a strange command. God is saying, Rejoice always. How can we rejoice always? What about the times of pain and adversities? Rejoicing in the Lord is rejoicing in the revelation of the truth of God’s Word. When the word of God enters your Spirit, no matter the situation you are facing, you will rejoice because the entrance of God’s word will bring faith and rejoicing is a proof or manifestation of your faith.

Jesus says, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when  ye pray,  believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24). Prayer makes the truth of God’s word real to you. As you pray based on a provision of the scripture, declaring it to yourself and glorifying God for it, your heart will become aware of the truth then you can believe. If you have prayed and you really believe that you’ve got answers, you don’t have to wait to see it manifesting. Your rejoicing is the proof that you believe that you have received your answers. As you do so, your answer will manifest. Amen!

So rather than considering how your body feels, consider what the word says and rejoice in the truth of God’s word. The cancerous wound may be painful, the sickness may be so real. You might have woken with unbearable pain this morning, force your mind to focus on God’s Word. It may be difficult at first. Just keep it in your heart. Start muttering it to yourself. The pain may increase, don’t be deterred. Start saying the word with boldness. “By the stripes of Jesus, I was healed.” It is the truth! You are not saying the word so that God will perform it. You are saying it because it is the truth. What you feel may be a fact but it is not the truth! Use the word of God to shout down the devil. Soon it will enter into your spirit and the joy will overwhelm you. Rejoice in the Lord and begin to do what you could not do. Rejoice in that truth and you shall receive your healing, and for that matter, any miracle you need!

With salvation comes a lot of unbelievable benefits. But “With joy shall ye draw [them as] water out of the wells of salvation.” (Isaiah 12:3)

Thank you father for the ability to rejoice always.

I rejoice in the word of God because I know it is true

No matter what I face, I rejoice because God’s word is prevailing in my life.

I know the plans of God for me are good always so I rejoice in the truth of them

I rebuke the spirit of heaviness and sadness. I receive joy in Jesus Name!

Psalm 149
