WIELDING THE POWER OF RESURRECTION

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

John 3:34

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Heb 5:13 KJV

Despite the presence of the Holy Spirit, many Christians do not know how to wield the power of resurrection that the Holy Spirit brings into their lives hence they continue to live defeated lives. It is important that you know how to wield the power. When the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus in the region of the dead, the scripture says that Jesus threw off principalities off Himself. He wielded the power and with it wrought a mighty victory over all the hordes of darkness. You don’t remain passive with the power. Use it.

The punching fist or the weapon of assault of the Holy Spirit is called the sword of the Spirit. This is the weapon that Jesus has always used and that is what He will use in His final showdown on earth when He’d come to destroy the devil, the Antichrist and all that stands against Him (Rev. 19:15 & 21).

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, He delivers this almighty weapon to you. You have to learn to use it. You must train yourself till you become skilful in the word of righteousness.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

Joh 3:34 KJV

“How do I go about it”?  You may ask. Firstly, you must fill your heart with the Word of God. You don’t just speak because the bible says so. That would be speaking empty or vain words. The word has to proceed from your heart for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). So, let God’s Word dwell in you richly till you see everything from a divine perspective. Then begin to say what God says. Speak about your family, your finance, your walk of faith your ministry. Speak what God says and not what you’re seeing. Be consistent about it, not only in the place of prayer but in your everyday activities. You’d experience victory always in Jesus Name
